二、英文作文
Summer and fall are typhoon seasons in Taiwan. Lately, climate change has made typhoon damage worse, scaring people more. When a typhoon hits, we see unique scenes in the news, like people riding motorcycles to work in strong winds and rain, or “Typhoon Day-off” with crowded movie theaters and malls. The debate over “Typhoon Day-off” and their role in disaster prevention has become a hot topic.
I believe safety should always come first during typhoon holidays because people's lives are more important than economic losses. When a typhoon hits, everyone should stay home and avoid going out to ensure everyone's safety. This reduces the risk of accidents and injuries and allows government agencies to focus on disaster relief more effectively.
夏天和秋天是台灣的颱風季節。近年來，氣候變遷使颱風帶來的災害和損失增加，使人們對大自然更加畏懼。當颱風來襲時，我們經常在新聞中看到獨特的畫面，例如人們冒著強風暴雨騎摩托上班，或宣布放颱風假，電影院和百貨公司卻擠滿了人潮。是否放「颱風假」以及颱風假防災的意義，成為了熱門的討論話題。
我認為在颱風假期期間，安全永遠是第一位的，因為人民的生命比經濟損失更重要。颱風來襲時，大家應該待在家裡，避免外出，確保大家的安全。這降低了事故和傷害的風險，並使政府機構能夠更有效地專注於救災。
